Birthday Parties for Kids
at Reilly's Summer Seat Farm

Reilly's Summer Seat Farm & Garden Center in Pittsburgh offers a wonderful location for your child's birthday party  Within 15 minutes of downtown Pittsburgh, Reilly's offers children of Allegheny County (and other surrounding areas in southwestern PA) an opportunity to experience the country and have some great fun.

The fun and freedom of visiting Grandfather’s farm, was very special. But even if your grandfather was city born and raised, your family can experience an exciting and entertaining day here at Reilly’s Summer Seat Farm.

A unique Birthday Party for your child can be arranged almost any time April through December and a good time will be had by all. We provide an hour and a half to two hours of entertainment to include:

• An old-fashioned hayride that starts at your picnic site.
• A chance to pick one of the crops growing on the farm (berries, corn or pumpkins, depending on the season)
• A visit to feed the farm animals (everyone enjoys the antic of the goats, sheep, cow, etc.).

There will be room to run and play so bring games if you wish; and of course, you can bring anything you want to eat or drink (except alcoholic beverages).   

Parties each have a private site, which can be either an outdoor picnic site, or an  indoor site such as the garden center’s classroom.

Parking is located nearby your site.  

The cost is $6.50 for attendees boarding the wagons and participating in the days activities. Wrist bands to identify participating attendees will be provided when checking in. A minimum charge of $125.00 is applicable to small groups (less than 20 people). 

A nonrefundable picnic site rental fee of $25.00 is required at the time the reservation is made.   

One picnic table will be located at your site. Additional picnic tables (if available) can be rented for $20 each or you may bring your own tables, chairs, and or blankets.

Payment is required when the reservation is made.

If you want to roast hot dogs or marshmallows, a bonfire can be provided for a fee of $45.

Custom-Made Farm Tours

Tours can be arranged for more than birthday parties!  Family gatherings, community outings, scout troops, and summer camp groups can enjoy the fun too.  Group tours are custom-made to fit the needs of your group.   Custom tours follow the same guidelines nd  

Custom-Made Farm Tour Highlights
(with other special arrangements possible)

• A Hayride around the farm to see the different crops that are growing.

• Everyone can pick an in-season crop. (Berries, corn, or pumpkins.)

• Visit and feed the big animals and the little animals.

• A picnic table is available and there is space for the children to play.

We will work with you to design a special party or farm tour for your group. The cost is $6.50/person with a minimum fee of $120.
